We’d like a Christian ceremony

We’re a cross cultural couple.

We see ourselves as Spiritual, Not Religious.

Religion and spirituality are not vital to us.

We celebrate Christianity in a broad variety of ways. Our goal is to develop a familiar and comfortable ceremony style for you.

Traditional Ceremony. If you grew up in an RC, Episcopal, Lutheran, or Methodist home, this is the marriage right you’re familiar with. We often see this as the ceremony portrayed in movies and television. I usually model this on a 20th-century Book of Worship.
Mainstream Protestant. Folks who grew up with Presbyterian, UCC, Disciples, or similar Reform traditions typically aren’t quite “high church” and are more comfortable with only a few bits of the traditional liturgy. This is a more flexible choice than the above.
Non-Denominational. This is probably the broadest description of the church in the United States. With roots in the Baptist church, this celebration has fewer “required” parts and is most comfortable for people who want a Christian celebration without “high church theater.”

What sort of Christian ceremony would you like?(Required)

Occasionally, people from different cultures or faith groups fall in love. This happens because love transcends boundaries. And that’s one of the beautiful things about humanity.

The challenge is creating a meaningful set of rituals that honors your heritage, traditions, culture, and faith. Then collecting those rituals into a beautiful ceremony that celebrates you as partners and as a couple.

Folks who see themselves as Agnostic or Atheist make up a large segment of my clientele. They trust I will create a meaningful ceremony following Humanist guidelines.

We keep the ceremony simple and focused on the legal requirements of marriage. We include readings or music that have personal meaning for you or are just plain funny.

About Locations

There are three kinds of places where you could hold your wedding.

An Event Hall or Wedding Venue. If you are working with a wedding chapel, bed & breakfast, or other commercial or non-profit space, this is your choice below.

A Public Location. This is a publically owned space, like a park or a zoo.

A Private Residence. It could be your home or that of a relative or friend.

I’m happy to help you figure it out. I’ve performed weddings all over the western half of Washington and traveled extensively in Eastern Washington. There’s a place for your ceremony and we’ll find it.

Affordable Packages

You’ll find complete descriptions on my Affordable Packages page, and the link opens a new tab. Below are brief descriptions of each.

Gold. This collection is the Gold Medal standard for full, traditional weddings and includes virtually everything you could wish.

Silver. The Silver ensemble has the features you most desire in a full ceremony with an eye to speed and economy.

Bronze. Perfectly designed for micro-weddings, Mini-Monies, small weddings, and vow renewals.

Copper. Intended for Micro-Weddings and intimate elopements, with a total participation of from four to about twenty people.

Elopement. This is a bog-standard, bare-minimum ceremony for you, your two witnesses, one or two immediate friends, or close family.

Commitment, Celebrate your committed relationship without involving the state. Commitment ceremonies are like an elopement without a marriage license.
Commitment Ceremonies are not legal marriages.

Elopements are not available as either Sequel packages or Themed weddings.

An interesting choice. It’s easier and less expensive to change a package than to create your own deal. We can upgrade any of the packages and add features not included. “Rolling your own” means paying the full retail price.

If you want to upgrade an existing package, choose that package and we’ll discuss that during our conversation.

What’s a Character Wedding?

I used to call these themed weddings, referring to your motif of Christmas, Fantasy, or the Renaissance. This caused some confusion, so it’s now Character Wedding.

For a character wedding, I take part as Santa Claus, a wizard, pirate, or another character. The possibilities are limitless! We’ll discuss your ideas during the Discovery Call.

Elopements are not eligible for a themed package.
